(South Bend, IN – June 9, 2010) Brown Mackie College – South Bend Health and Therapeutic Massage Therapy program students are teaming up July 19 – 23, to host “Everybody Deserves a Massage Week” fundraiser. The five-day fundraiser will benefit Riley’s Children’s Hospital located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The fundraiser will take place at the school’s University Park location at 7134 Grape Road in South Bend. Students will provide chair massages each day from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The charge for a 15-minute massage is $7.00 and a 30-minute massage is $15.00. The event is open to the public. July is "Make a difference in a child's life" month and Brown Mackie College – South Bend wanted to do something special. The school currently has students whose children are or have been patients at Riley's Children Hospital. “This fundraiser is a ‘no brainer’,” said Brown Mackie College – South Bend President, Louise Stienkeoway. “For years, our students, faculty, and staff have given back to the community through charitable endeavors. This fundraiser is to further highlight Brown Mackie College – South Bend’s ongoing spirit of service.
